The
activities of the Society are carried out within the following
areas: Epidemiology and Prevention, Biology and Immunology, Detection,
Diagnosis and Screening, Pathology and Cytology, loco-regional and
systemic Treatment, Rehabilitation and Counselling. |
Eusoma
organised together with Europa Donna and EORTC the First European
Breast Cancer Conference (1-EBCC) held in Florence in September
1998. The Conference has produced a consensus document, the Florence
Statement which set the goals to be achieved by the three organisers
to obtain the very much needed changes in the field of breast
treatment, research, prevention and advocacy.
The progress of this common project have been assessed during
the Second European Breast Cancer Conference (2-EBCC) held in
Brussels in September 2000.
